Meet the girl behind the camera and the flower fields — where stories bloom.

I was born and raised in Kansas, but spent 25 wonderful years in Northern California before convincing my husband, Mike, it was time to come back home. In 2017, we relocated to Kansas, and I began doing photography full-time.

Mike is now retired, but you’ll often find him helping behind the scenes — building new sets, expanding our outdoor studio, or serving as my “voice-activated light stand.”

How It All Began

My love for photography started when I was 16, capturing photos of my little brother. After spending part of my childhood in foster care with very few photos of myself, I learned early on just how precious it is to preserve memories. Once I picked up a camera, it never left my hands.

A Heart for Care and Connection

I’ve been a Registered Nurse since 1991, spending decades caring for people through compassion and connection. That same heart carries into my photography.

My studio includes both indoor and outdoor spaces, flower fields, and a wardrobe closet filled with creative options — including more than 30 flying dresses, many custom-designed by Korinne Art in Southern California. Many clients come specifically for these creative wardrobe options, including our signature flying dresses and styled pieces.

Building Confidence Through Photography

I’m also proud to lead the PBTKC Modeling Programs, which help young people build confidence, self-esteem, and self-image. Watching models step out of their comfort zones and begin to see themselves through a new lens has been one of my greatest joys.

Beyond the Studio

Photography has taken me far beyond the studio and flower fields — from destination sessions to published work shared around the world. These experiences continue to shape my creativity and inspire the way I photograph every client.

Family First

Above all, my biggest blessing is family. I’m a mom to three amazing grown children, two wonderful bonus sons, four beautiful daughters-in-law, and one fantastic son-in-law — and the very best part of it all is being Grammy to ten incredible grandchildren.

Our family has grown in many meaningful ways, including grandchildren who have chosen us, and foster grandchildren who have held a special place in our hearts along the way. Each one is deeply loved, fully embraced, and forever part of our story.

Life Beyond the Camera

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me spending time with my loved ones, traveling, or exploring nature with my camera in hand — especially when bears, wild horses, or whales are involved!

Why I Do What I Do

Every client who steps in front of my lens entrusts me with something truly special — their story. I don’t take that lightly. Every session is built on trust, comfort, and connection.

Read Kind Words

Photography isn’t just what I do; it’s who I am. It’s how I honor people, moments, and the beauty in between.

If you’re ready to create something meaningful together, I’d love to connect.
