Whether I’m capturing a growing family, a senior milestone, or the beauty of motherhood, my goal is always the same: to tell your story honestly and beautifully.

Photography Sessions Offered

Newborn photography requires a photographer who puts safety first. With over 28 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, including time in Labor & Delivery and Neonatal care, I bring a deep understanding of newborn safety, comfort, and care to every session.
I’m also trained in newborn posing and specialized photography techniques, allowing me to capture this monumental season of life in a gentle, baby-led way. Sessions are calm, unhurried, and always guided by your baby’s needs.
Newborn sessions can take place in my studio or as lifestyle sessions in your home. After booking, I’ll send you a Newborn Session Guide to help you feel fully prepared.
The ideal time for newborn portraits is when your baby is 5–14 days old, when babies tend to be sleepier and more comfortable. Sessions outside that timeframe are still possible and can be discussed.
I’m also available for Birth Photography and Fresh 48 sessions in the hospital setting.

I love photographing families of all sizes and stages, focusing on genuine connection and the relationships that make your family unique.
Sessions can take place at one of my favorite family-friendly locations or at a location that’s meaningful to you. Whether we’re outdoors, in the studio, or at Dusty Roads Ranch, the goal is always the same — relaxed, natural images that reflect who you are together.
Fall family sessions are especially popular and tend to book quickly, so planning ahead is encouraged to secure your preferred timing.

Maternity sessions are designed to celebrate the beauty, connection, and anticipation of this season of life. Partners and children are welcome to be part of the session.
I offer maternity gowns to borrow or you’re welcome to bring your own, with up to two outfits per session. Each session includes a minimum of 25 high-resolution digital images with a print release.
Clients who book a maternity session with me also receive a $25 discount toward a newborn session.

Personalized sessions celebrating who you are — from high school seniors to meaningful life milestones.
You made it — and this season deserves to be celebrated. Senior sessions are some of my favorite because they’re all about you: your personality, passions, and the things that make you who you are.
My senior sessions are designed to be relaxed, fun, and completely personalized. I want you to feel confident and comfortable while we create images that reflect your style and story.
Each senior session includes two locations, 1–2 hours of photography time, and a minimum of 25 high-resolution, edited digital images delivered in an online gallery.
If you’re interested in becoming a PBTKC Model Representative, I also offer a modeling program for select seniors who want to represent Photography by Tammy KC and participate in a season of creative photo sessions.

Celebrating love stories — from the excitement of your engagement to the meaningful moments of your wedding day.
I love capturing genuine connection and emotion, whether we’re documenting your engagement or your wedding day. Engagement sessions can take place in a natural setting, the West Bottoms, or another location that’s meaningful to you.
For weddings, I’ll work closely with you through consultation and planning to ensure your photography reflects what matters most to you. I also include a second photographer on wedding days so we can capture moments from multiple perspectives — including the groom’s reaction as the bride walks down the aisle.
A complimentary engagement session is included with all booked wedding packages, giving us a chance to work together before your big day and create images you’ll love.

I offer headshot sessions for professionals and small businesses, whether you prefer to photograph at your location or in my studio.
These sessions are designed to feel relaxed and professional, creating images that reflect who you are and how you want to show up. While I can’t guarantee identical backdrops when photographing on location, I’ll work with you to create a look that feels polished and authentic.

Birthday sessions are a fun way to celebrate your child’s milestones — especially those big first birthdays.
Cake Smash sessions include themed birthday portraits before the cake smash, followed by the messy, joyful cake moment itself. Sessions can take place in the studio or outdoors. For allergy and liability reasons, I don’t provide the cake, but I’m happy to help guide you in choosing one.
You’re welcome to bring your own outfit or use items from my collection, including birthday hats, tutus, diaper covers, and accessories. After booking, I’ll send a Session Guide to help you prepare.

Throughout the year, I offer themed Mini Sessions — discounted, limited-time sessions built around fun seasonal concepts.
These may include sunflower sessions, holiday themes, animal sessions, fantasy-inspired shoots, and more. I try to offer at least one mini session each month, with themes changing throughout the year.
Mini Session announcements are shared first through my community, so availability is limited, and booking is encouraged early.

Boudoir sessions are a celebration of confidence, strength, and feeling beautiful in your own skin — just as you are. Beauty is not defined by age, size, or shape, and these sessions are designed to help you feel empowered, comfortable, and confident.
I photograph tasteful, classy boudoir in a relaxed, supportive environment. Many clients arrive feeling nervous, but leave feeling confident and beautiful by the end of their session.
You must be 19 years or older for a boudoir session. You’re welcome to bring a female friend for support if you’d like. Hair and makeup are not currently provided, so you may do your own or work with a stylist prior to your session.
Sessions take place in my private two-room studio, with additional studio locations available in the KC area and West Bottoms.
Boudoir sessions include a 60-minute session, 10–15 high-resolution edited digital images, a private online gallery, a print release, and a fun, confidence-boosting experience.

Fabio is our full-bred Scottish Highland cow and a one-of-a-kind photo experience offered exclusively through Photography by Tammy KC. Sweet, gentle, and full of personality, Fabio loves cuddles, treats, and posing for photos — making him a favorite for kids and families.
Fabio is located in Paola, Kansas, and is available for:

Wardrobe & Styling Included
One of the things that makes my sessions unique is access to an extensive studio wardrobe and personalized styling support.
I offer more than 30 flying dresses, tulle robes and dresses, maternity gowns, angel wings, and a variety of carefully curated pieces available for clients to use during their session.
I also help guide styling choices so you feel confident and comfortable, whether your vision is soft and timeless or bold and creative.
Studio & Outdoor Locations
Sessions can take place in my indoor studio, across the outdoor spaces at Dusty Roads Ranch, or at select outdoor locations, depending on the season and vision for your session.
From controlled studio lighting to open fields, flower blooms, and natural landscapes, each location offers a unique setting to help tell your story in a way that feels authentic and personal.
